A poll for The Guardian suggests 61% of Brits believe Israel has acted "disproportionately" to the threat it faces against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Since this is the Guardian its tempting to assume this is just the usual suspects on the Left, but sadly I don't think it is. The poll goes on to say even 68% of conservatives believe Tony Blair's position on this is too close to that of President Bush (and it is safe to say that "yo Blair" incident didn't help).

The British Conservative Party also seems to be following its leftward lurch in domestic policy with a similar change in direction in foreign policy. Even NRO has noticed this, with a typically accurate post on David Frum's blog:

This week... Cameron’s front bench indulged itself in the most serious attack to date upon its friends: this time, an attack upon US-UK diplomacy in the Middle East, upon George Bush, and upon Israel as it defends itself against terror attack.

This is because Tony Blair was openly mocked on the Conservative benches for being unwilling to "stand up to" Bush, and an admission from Shadow Foreign Secretary William Hague that Israel's response has indeed been disproportionate (that specific word was used).

This was not however as bad as it got. 'Liberal Democrat' leader Ming Campbell had the following bile to spew:

The Government is right to ensure there are no arms transfers, either direct or indirect, from the UK to Syria, Iran or illegal armed groups such as the military wing of Hizbollah ... The Government must now comply with its own arms export rules and institute an immediate suspension of all UK arms exports to Israel

A moral equivalence is drawn between Israel and Iran, Syria and Hezbollah. Tories may be doing their best to cuddle up to elitist opinion in Europe on this, but you still won't see such alarming idiocy from them as seems manditory for a liberal.

Without doubt, the UK isn't standing with Israel as it should be. But their is still a minority who sees Israel's fight as our broader fight, a fight against Islamofascism. This pro-Israel rally in London shows not everyone is suffering from pancake-on-the-brain syndrome

Media Bias: Why is Israel to blame?

Once again the Arab-Israeli situation flares up in the Middle East. We've all grown used to seeing it in our news, and rarely do people seriously look at the events and the motives before them, instead using the situation to 'support' either side based on the prejudices they already have. Palestinian supporters cry that the Gaza incurison is morally unjustified and an act of "collective punishment"; Israeli supporters don't tend to understand why the IDF have stayed out of Gaza this long.

So what is the truth, assuming their can be an objective one? Most of the media is playing the standard anti-Israeli bias, with their message being if i summarise "Yes Israel was provoked, but its reaction is out of all proportion, unnecessary, aggressive, damaging to the peace process and designed not to get their soldier back but rather to extract revenge on the Palestinians, making their lives a misery".

One of the worst media offenders of ridiculous bias is the barely contained anti-semitism at UK Channel 4 News. Lets just have a look at this report (video link on this page), followed by an interview with presenter Jon Snow and the Israeli ambassador to the UK.

This 'special report' is billed as showing life in Gaza during the incursion. How Israelis view events, or how life is like in Israel during constant rocket attack or fear of suicide bombing, is of course uninteresting and irrelevant. Reporter Jonathan Miller first seeks the objective views of a Hamas guard on the bombing of a power station, with the guard saying of Israel “the only way they can get their way is by force". The staggering, breath-taking hypocrisy of this statement from a member of an armed terrorist organisation is gone unchallenged.

Miller than scours the Strip for more people who agree with his worldview. He finds someone in the form of a Palestinian whose roof has apparently collapsed from a sonic boom of Israeli aircraft, who says “I hope they get more of them" (them being kidnapped Israeli soldiers). Portrayed utterly unchallenged, the report barely stops short of at least sympathising with the kind of Palestinian terrorism that started all this.

It gets worse. We see a press conference by the Hamas prime minister, and it is reported “Ismael haniyeh had urged his people to remain patient and strong". Yes, the peace loving Palestinians must remain calm at this Israeli violence out of left field. Riiiiiiight. The report ends by commenting that "Gaza is running out of patience" , patience of course being something these "resilient people" have "abundance of".

If your stomach continues to have patience at this point, it will let rip its contents upon the floor after 'questioning' from Jon Snow of the Israeli ambassador, which goes something like this:

"...rockets, pretty pathetic things, nobody gets injured, home-made, and you well know they have nothing stronger than an AK-47 - an RPG - they have no weapons, and you're delivering some of the most sophisticated bombardment thats ever been subjected to a defenceless people. Is that an act of terror would you say?"

For viewers of course, the obvious answer is meant to be 'yes'. The Israeli argument that this is a response to constant rocket attack is dismissed effectively by saying that rocket attacks against innocent civilians mean nothing. The lack of casualties (and Snow shamelessly lies when he says no one gets hurt) is hardly a redeemer for the Palestinians. Yet, after two days of "sophisticated bombardment", just a single Palestinian is dead, which is less than the dead in the original kidnapping incident. Israel may indeed be trying to pressurise and intimidate, but with such a massive action causing so few casualties illustrates the extreme caution with which the IDF approaches this. This is no "act of terror".

The media stands blissfully unaware of the facts. The kidnapping of Cpl Gilad Shalit was the last straw of what amounts to almost a year of Palestinian terror originating from Gaza. With the proper background it hardly seems an overreaction.

Indeed, if I may say so, sympathy of the Palestinian cause can only result from a misunderstanding of the real situation. Some people, many of whom really should no better, are actually naive enough to believe, probably because of media spin, that there are really two 'wings' of Hamas - political and militant - and so are outraged when Israel arrests members of the Palestinian parliament. From top to bottom, from the lone guard in Miller's propaganda piece all the way up to the prime minister, Hamas is a terrorist organisation - a group which holds as its objective the destruction of Israel (and another media falsehood, that Hamas was about to sign a document with Fatah recognising Israel, is debunked simply by reading the document), which refuses totally to renounce violence, and whose grassroots members see the extinction of the Jewish people as being the will of Allah.

Many pundits often use the phrase "cycle of violence" to describe the middle east. This is a lie. The reality is Palestinian action and Israeli reaction. It is Palestinian terror followed by Israeli response which does its best to be humane under the most extreme and difficult circumstances and geography in the world (Gaza is of course the most densely populated area on earth - nothing can be done there which wouldn't effect everyone; it is not just punishment which is done collectively, inevitably and unavoidably everything is).

We all hope and pray this incident cools down and some resemblance of peace returns. We all hope Cpl Gilad Shalit is returned safely, no matter how unlikely that now appears. We all hope the Palestinians do not suffer excessively from Israeli efforts to rescue him and deal more widely with the situation. But equally, I sincerely think we should all also hope that this incident reveals the true nature of the conflict: a conflict which at its heart the Palestinians are to blame for, yet also a conflict which our enlightened media will use endlessly in its quest to unfairly smear Israel

For some reason that totally, absolutely defies belief, Israel wants to surrender yet again to a bunch of Jew-murdering, gay-stoning and West-hating Arabs. All in the name of "peace", of course.

Will we be able to stop this? There is hope, as this time, as opposed to the battle over Gaza - the loss of which hurts nowhere near as much as the realization that all one's worst assumptions and expectations have materialized - the Wall Street Journal, that beacon of the enlightenment, is on our side.

Consider today's must-read piece by the great R. James Woolsey, a neoconservative's neoconservative and a thinker's thinker:

The approach Israel is preparing to take in the West Bank was tried in Gaza and has failed utterly. The Israeli withdrawal of last year has produced the worst set of results imaginable: a heavy presence by al Qaeda, Hezbollah and even some Iranian Revolutionary Guard units; street fighting between Hamas and Fatah, and now Hamas assassination attempts against Fatah's intelligence chief and Jordan's ambassador; rocket and mortar attacks against nearby towns inside Israel; and a perceived vindication for Hamas, which took credit for the withdrawal. This latter almost certainly contributed substantially to Hamas's victory in the Palestinian elections.

But even if Israel were hell-bent on national suicide, there would still be reasons to be object, for this is about more than "just" Israel - the future of the "least worst Arab state", Jordan, is at play as well:

Israel is not the only pro-Western country that would be threatened. How does moderate Jordan, with its Palestinian majority, survive if bordered by a West Bank terrorist state? Israeli concessions will also make the U.S. look weak, because it will be inferred that we have urged them, and will suggest that we are reverting to earlier behavior patterns--fleeing Lebanon in 1983, acquiescing in Saddam's destruction of the Kurdish and Shiite rebels in 1991, fleeing Somalia in 1993, etc.

And we are, lest we forget, not dealing with rational, tit-for-tat Western minds, but rather with a medieval death cult that interprets every bit of compromise as weakness, not to be rewarded:

Israeli concessions indeed enhance Palestinian hope, but not of a reasonable two-state solution--rather a hope that they will actually be able to destroy Israel.

A hope that, sadly, they can still get away with. As for the true road to true peace:

A two-state solution can become a reality when the Palestinians are held to the same standards as Israelis--to the requirement that Jewish settlers in a West Bank-Gaza Palestinian state would be treated with the same decency that Israel treats its Arab citizens. Until then, three failures in 13 years should permit us to evaluate the wisdom of further concessions.

Indeed. And then, as ever, let us remember the words of the great Golda Meir:

There will be peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us.

While remembrance calls for silence, I would still like to use this special day to point out that there is one country, just one, that will side with Israel and stand by her side regardless of economic and commercial costs, world opinion, oil, and other considerations.

Given the twentieth century's history, the natural candidate for this post should be Germany, or possibly Poland, on whose territory the most despicable and incomprehensible crimes ever planned by man were perpetrated. In fact, just about any European nation that collaborated in the Holocaust might have decided to stand by Israel - and that means all of Continental Europe with the exception of Switzerland, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, and Bulgaria.

But, for that whatever reason, all these countries have chosen not to do so.

And thus that one, irreplaceable country is America, still the shining city upon a hill, and as ever, mankind's last, best hope.

George Washington, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton and Abraham Lincoln would be proud.

And Israel shall live on, an eternal friend of America, and an eternal reminder that Hitler, Himmler, Heydrich and Hoess did not succeed, did not manage to exterminate the Jewish people, and did not break the Jewish people's will for survival, or for a return home to Jerusalem, at long last.

The Israeli Elections are tomorrow. By the recent polls, Kadims gain between 30 - 37 Mandates, the Likud gains 15 Mandates, Haavoda ( Labor ) gains 20 Mandates, and Yisrael Beteino ( Liberman ) gains around 12 Mandates.
Now, let's see why none of them can be the next PM:

Ehud Olmert - very corrupted Person. His familly is RADICAL leftist, and his sons, all of them reject Israel's right to exist. This is not good.
Amir Peretz - Also, corrupted. But, he is also having some Communist attitudes. Like, expelling the rich of their homes, and raising the Minimum Salary to 1000$, which is NOT going to be good in Israel's economic condition.
Benjamin Netanyahu - has absoloutly no responsibility. The way he just left the Government without telling anyone is not responsible.
Avigdor Liberman - I would say he is the most suited for being a PM, however, he fails to understand the threat Israel is facing [ i.e. Islamonazism ].

When we put the corruption aside, none of those leaders understands the threat of Islam. None of those leaders ever read the Quran, or learnt upon Islam more then what is taught at school. None of them is doing so, and no one will probably.
No one of them can be compared to Ariel Sharon. Even though he was corrupted to his bone, Ariel Sharon knew exactly how to deal with Terror, and how to deal with Iran. Liberman might have some of his spirit, but certainly not enough.
Even though I disagreed with Ariel Sharon, he was the only one capable of being a good Prime Minister. I have to say, as many Israelis, I miss him.

However, as how much his claim is true or false, he says nothing about WHY there was a lack of it.
From that moment forward the book turns into Politically Correct theme which I found very shallow.
He didn't write the Islamic line of thinking - Non Muslims are inferior and the Muslims should kill them.
He didn't write that Islam alreay ordered specifically his science ( so if you'll think of it, there can't be moderation ).
Let me rewrite it:
When the Muslims conquered many nations, they forced Islam on them. Almost all of the Science came out of Jewish/Christian/Muslims of Christian descent, so the Muslims just exploited it.
After the Islamic Empire became far more religous under the Abbasids, the slow sinking down began, and non Muslims were systematically thrown out of culture, as Islam commands ( Note, this was so also at the Ottoman Empire ).
The Islam, who had been nothing but Military power, was an Empire, but as Science and time went on, the West became stronger and Smarter, and the Muslims, who can't understand that what led to their great poverty was Islam itself, were angry upon the first thing they found out, which was Jews and Christians at first, and then turned onward to the West.
That's the truth. The thing that went wrong was that Muhammad's Mother didn't make an abortion.

MK Avigdor Liberman, has been calling for years to transfer Israeli Arab populated area to Palestine. As he says, he wants Israel to stay Jewish, and if the Israeli Arabs define themselves as Palestinians, they may go and live in Palestine.
By what he says, he wants Israel Jewish, and he knows that Demographics are playing an important role. To summ up his position, he wants to give lands by measures of Demographics, not 67' borders ( while keeping Ancient Jerusalem and large settelments blocks ).
Even though he wants the good of the Jews, all of the Leftists define hin as RACIST.
Why?
Because he wants Israel to remain Jewish?
Because he thinks that in order to keep Israel as a Jewish state we should think of Demographics?
Let me remind the Left what is Israel's goal and why was it founded.
Israel's goal was to establish a place where all the Jews will be able to live in it without dangers of Antisemitism.
So, shall I understand that being a Jewish nationalist or a nationalist at all makes you a racist?
In Liberman's case it makes you so ( I support him by the way ).
There's another case when this hypocrisity had happened. Misolevic and Yugoslavia. There's no doubt Serbia done terrible crimes, however, many Leftists forget something.
The Muslims started the whole thing. The Serbs just retaliated too strongly.
Furthermore, many of the rape stories seem to show some problem.

And if we talk of the Albanians ( Serbia's Palestinians ), 400000 of them were immigrants when the conflict had actually started.
Well, and the Left critircize only the Serbs. Even the Israeli left ( even though the Serbs were the ONLY nation in Eastern Europe who've helped the Jews at the Holocaust, while the Muslims recruited terribly fast without it's being forced on them to Husseiny's Balkan SS ).

Why did Israel lost the war on Terror

At the last few days, the Terror came back, and by what senior Security Officers say, we are on the verge of a new Intifada.
However, this time it will be different. This time, Iran, the growing Evill in the Middle East is capable of taking care for the Palestinians. It is the time to admitt, Israel was defeated.
Many people think, that the Israeli Palestinian War is just a local conflict. Sadly, the World made it not just Israeli Arab War. It has become a Global War that is fought by force only at Israel.
Israel, sure that the US will do her job, didn't attack Iran. And therefore led to a supporter who is irrational, hatefull, racist who has global Ambitions pretty much as Hitler.
What the West ceases to understand, that Israel's death will be his step into his grave. An alliances of Islamic states without anything between them is not something easy to stop.
Moreover, Israel has problems from inside. The Palestinians and the Israeli Arabs are one thing, and the Radical Left is another. Enough was spoken of Islam, but on the Left nothing eas spoken. Anarchists, Gush Shalom, Shalom Achshav, etc are setting hatred between the Jews, lying about the settlers and supporting illegaly the Palestinians, thus promoting Terror.
Israel gave those traitors a wide range to promote anti Israel and even Anti Semite slogans in Europe. And Israel didn't answer. And the World supports them today.
Israel was defeated in the battle of the Intifada, however she didn't lost the full scale war. Sadly, Israel isn't trying to win. Our Politicians care only of money, except Netanyahu and Mertez ( And Merez are extreme leftists ), who won't have a vast support.
We could've won this war. But we were too gentile to the Palestinians. We could've cut them off with Electricity and water, and block international reporters. We could've shut down any Palestinian crossing into Israel, we could have executed Terrorists who were captured.
And we did none of this. If Israel wants to save herself, she will better strike Iran, if we won't help ourselves, no one will help us. Apparently, even after the Holocaust Jews didn't learn why and how to protect themselves.

The Jews came back to their land, and the 2,000 years of exile ended. As was written in the Bible "we cried for Zion", and in 1967, this ended. Olmert's great Challanges

Olmert, probably the next PM in Israel, will have to face many problems.
The 1st one and most urgent will be the Persian Bomb. A revolution in Iran, as much it's expected, isn't yet happening. And if they'll reach a Nuclear Bomb before that, then they won't be stopped, and I don't want to think of the consequences. Olmert has the choose here, whether to attack Iran and take the risk of a war, or to go into a miniature " cold War " whose end can't be foreseen.
Olmert's 2nd challenge is the growing extremism of Israeli Arabs and hate toward the Jews, and the Demographic Element as well.
Another challange will be the Israeli Education. Three years of Socialist policy left the Israeli Education system very corrupted, while the teachers can get whatever they want, and to strike whenever they want on the back of the ordinary citizen.
Another harsh challenge is the Hamas soon to be created Government. Olmert can break Israel's reputation and to negotiate with terrorists, while not doing so will harm Israel's power at the world and her military will have to gain more funds, that will have an end in the end.
The Economy is starting to recover thanks to Benjamin Netanyahu, however, Olmert won't take him into the Government, because Netanyahu is from the Likud, and Olmert just left the Likud, so it'll be a Political submission. The other option is Amir Peretz ( Abu Safam and the one who'll understand may understand ), who's a Socialist with Communist Ideals, that in order to be in coalition, demands to be the Economy Minister, which Olmert, for the sake of Israel, can't accept.
However, one thing is playing to Olmert's side. He's a Lawyer, he knows the Law exactly, and how to take of it the best solution. He's not a General, that commands, as many Prime Ministers were over here. Let's hope he'll be able to get Israel in a stronger positions to be able to maintain her strength in this World where the danger of another World War is getting bigger from day to day.

I'll just give my 2 cents on this whole fiasco:

I'm a (reasonably) observant Catholic. I go to church every week. I'm also a conservative politically and have great reverence for all religions. These cartoons published in Denmark depict the prophet Mohammed, even though depicting him is a grave disrespect to Islam. Its beyond me why someone would do it. If my home the UK was still devout Christian and someone in Syria drew Jesus Christ dropping bombs from a US plane - even that would not come close to creating a comparison to describe the offense some people were caused by this. When your life is your religion, these things matter. The cartoons are offensive, and they're embarrasing to me.

But now, such as the world we live in, it is my duty to defend these cartoons. You do not have a right not to be offended. Here in the West, the protection of freedom is, as Lord Acton said, not the most important role of government - it is the role of government. Freedom is what we are. I can assure all the thugs and terrorists that burned embassies and threatened others with death over the weekend that we take this very seriously here.

You will not intimidate us. We are drawing the line right in the sand now. Protest if you must; but you must respect our values of liberal democracy wherever you are in the world, and if you plan to live in Europe, you must live by them. No compromise.

We've posted the cartoons on this blog (cheers FDR) and I urge a British newspaper to step forward and publish them. You do not have to condone the depiction of Mohammed. You do not even have to support the underlying political message in the cartoons.

Is Allah Satan’s Name?
(… and why should we care?)

With each new day the world is victimized anew by vicious acts perpetrated by those crediting Islam for their demented behavior. So it begs the question: is Allah Satan?
In this paper, I’ll present the case—a smattering of the evidence—and let you decide. I do not care if you come to the conclusion that Allah is Satan, that Allah is Muhammad, or that neither Allah nor Satan exist, but that the character attributed to Allah was modeled after Satan. While these are all harsh verdicts, I do not believe the evidence—Biblical, Qur’anic, historic, and contemporary—allows any other rational conclusion.
Today, Muslims routinely contradict the Qur’an and say that Allah is the Arabic word for God. Yet if they were rational, they would recognize that this practice is intellectual suicide. Throughout the Qur’an, a book all Muslims believe was dictated to Muhammad by Gabriel on behalf of Allah, it says that “Ilah” is the Arabic word for “God” and that Allah is the Ilah’s name. So if Allah, not Ilah, is the word for God, Allah cannot be God, and the Qur’an cannot be inspired by God, because he and it claims otherwise.
Muslims are in a lose-lose scenario which is why they make such ludicrous claims. Speaking on behalf of a spirit he called Allah, Muhammad claimed that his spirit was the God of Adam, Abraham, Lot, Isaac, Ishmael, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon, and Isa—a character Muslims claim is “Jesus.” Muhammad routinely alleges that Allah inspired the Torah, Psalms, and Gospel as well as the Qur’an—another logical impossibility. The Spirit who inspired those books has a name too—Yahweh. He uses it 6868 times. Allah isn’t used once. And the books are opposites, in opposition to each other on every page and in every way.
Trying desperately to make the irrational seem plausible, Muslims contend that “allah” is a contraction of “al,” the word for “the,” and “ilah,” the word for god. Dispense with the “i” and bring them together, add capitalization, ignore the Qur’an, and add a big dose of hocus pocus and you get “Allah,” meaning “The God.” If that’s true, why doesn’t “The God” have a name? Don’t all gods have names—even false ones?
Interestingly, Allah isn’t even the first name assigned to the god of Islam. In the first twenty surahs “revealed,” Muhammad’s Qur’anic spirit was a nameless “Lord.” And that’s fascinating on many levels. First, Lord, is the name and title of Baal, the most famous of the Biblical Satanic sun gods. Second, since much of the Qur’an was plagiarized from the Rabbinical Talmud, and since the Qur’an complains incessantly that the Yahudim of Yathrib sold their “scripture” to Muhammad for too high a price, the use of “Lord” is telling. One thousand two hundred years earlier, following captivity in the Satanic depravity of Babylon, the Yahudi had stopped saying Yahweh’s name—saying instead “Lord.” Muhammad would have thought that the God of the Torah and Psalms name was “Lord,” so that’s what he called his god.
But since all gods have names, Muhammad was pressed by the Allah worshiping pagans in his home town of Mecca to tell them his god’s name. So, in the next block of surahs, the dark spirit of the Qur’an is called Ar-Rahman. This idol, whose name was derived from the Persian Devil, was a moon god in Yemen. His name was selected for several reasons, the most important of which is that before Muhammad plagiarized the Jews he pilfered the poetry of the Hanifs—a monotheistic religion that was derived from a Jewish dictator in Yemen just prior to Muhammad’s birth.
But the Qur’anic god’s name changes from Ar-Rahman to Allah in the most peculiar place—the Satanic Verses. The surah immediately preceding Muhammad’s most telling affair was named in Ar-Rahman’s honor and calls him “god.” But as a result of the Meccans offering Muhammad sex, power, and money to change to their gods—Allah being the most important of them—the Qur’an starts referring to its dark spirit by a new name. At the time of the Satanic Verses that mark this transition, the Islamic Hadith states that Muhammad revealed a Qur’an surah that was inspired by Satan. Then on behalf of Allah, Muhammad recites another Qur’anic verse saying that all of Allah’s messengers spoke on behalf of Satan. The whole sordid affair, in all of its glory and detail, is presented in the “Satanic Bargain” chapter (13) of Prophet of Doom.
So with that background, let’s examine the Qur’an’s claim that an Ilah named Allah inspired the Torah and Gospel. When we do so we are immediately confronted by the fact that Allah’s name isn’t mentioned in the Scriptures and that Yahweh’s name is repeated 6868 times. And while that should be the end of the Islamic claim and thus of Islam, that is not the end of the story.
There is a Hebrew word used in Yahweh’s Scripture that is similar to Ilah and Allah. That word is tahillah. It is derived from halal. Tahillah means laudation or praise. When directed at a worthy object it is an admirable thing. When sought out and self proclaimed it lies at the heart of what caused Satan—a word which means “adversary”—to rebel. In the West we know the Devil by the Latin word for light—Lucifer. But the book which introduced this dark spirit to mankind, uses a different name—Heylel. It is derived from halal. (The paleo-Hebrew of Isaiah’s time, the man who first used the name, did not include vowels, and from what we can tell, the “e” and “a” sounds were interchangeable. What scholars transliterate as “Heylel” could just as easily have been, and probably was, “Haylal.”)
The Hebrew “halal” (pronounced, haw-lal’) is like many words in that it has a dual nature—reflecting both good and bad characteristics. It means, “to be clear.” Originally this clarity pertained to sound, or words but it migrated to color, or light. Thus it came to mean “shine.” Isaiah had this meaning in mind when he said that Heylel was the Morning Star, better known as the sun—the principle deity in most cultures throughout history. It is why we know Satan as Lucifer, or light.
There is more to the Hebrew word halal. It means to make a show, to boast, to be clamorous and foolish. Allah’s biggest boast is “Allahu Akbar;” it’s the Islamic Prayer of Fear—the line jihadists shout before each terrorist assault. It means, “Allah is Greatest.” Halal also means to rave and celebrate in rage. This too is haunting in that Muslims are the only people to celebrate murder and mutilation.
At this point, halal’s definition turns considerably more sinister. Contemplate these meanings in the context of the Deceiver: to stultify, deaden, cloud, to blur, reduce and muffle, to assuage, alleviate and diminish. Halal means to feign or falsify one’s self, to be a counterfeit. It means to pretend, to be a fake, a fraud, to make believe and pretend. And this is precisely what Paul said Heylel would do—disguising himself as an angel of light to mislead a false messenger. Halal is also synonymous with Heylel’s title, the Adversary, in that it means to be mad against someone or something.
There is a second Hebrew word, while not a name, is also telling. It is “alah.” It means to “be high,” which is innocuous enough until you look closer. The word also means “dawn” or to “break the day.” In other words the “Morning Star”—Heylel. Interestingly, alah means to burn—a pastime in which Allah is both fixated and expert. In a relatively short book, Allah speaks of the fires or hell, pain, punishment and demons 1,000 times in the Qur’an. It is the most oft repeated rant—one in which Allah is shown asking to be left alone with the inmates of hell so that he can personally inflict the torment of burning.
Alah also means “to depart”—something Satan was forced to do, and “exalt, lifting one’s self up,” the reason why Heylel was cast out of heaven. In keeping with the halal theme, alah means light. But it’s the final meanings that are the most telling. Alah means “to levy, as in tax,” the Qur’an’s third most repeated theme, and “to make pay,” something Allah has seduced all Muslims into doing both temporally and eternally. It means “to prefer, and to stir up.” That is the essence of Satan, thus of Allah, Muhammad, and Islam. They are preferred over Yahweh and His Scriptures (Allahu Akbar) and they promote their deceptive, destructive, and demented cult by stirring up trouble. Muhammad was a terrorist; jihad is his legacy.
With these definitions in mind, let’s turn to the book that introduced the world to this demonic spirit. The name Heylel, or Lucifer, is only mentioned once in the entire Bible. In the midst of his prophecy on World War III—the all Islamic war to be launched against Israel in the last days—Isaiah says this about Islam and its dark spirit: “The rule of the oppressor [nagras: one who uses tyranny to harass, tax, and oppress, i.e., Islam] will come to an end. Those who smote [nakah: to strike, exile, murder, punish, or slaughter] the Jews in rage and anger with unceasing blows [Muslims], and in fury subdued [terrorized] the nations with relentless aggression, will be prosecuted. Hell itself will be moved. The pompous gloating leaders, arrogantly swelling with pride and boastful speech will be brought from their graves like maggots spread out. How you have fallen, cast out of heaven, O Heylel/Lucifer, the one with the brightness of the morning star.
You have been cast down to the earth and diminished. You used prostration to weaken the Gentile nations. You boasted ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will exalt my throne above God. I will abide in the meeting place on the most sacred Mount [Moriah—home of Lucifer’s most flamboyant shrine: the Dome of the Rock]. You said, ‘I will make myself like the Most High.’ But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit…. The offspring of the wicked will not rise up to inherit the land [Israel] or rule over the earth.” (Isaiah 14 amplified from the original Hebrew.)
The prophet Isaiah connected many of the dots for us. He reveals that Heylel was a fallen angel and that pride led to his ruin. He is destructive, leading men to their doom. And he wants to be worshiped in place of Yahweh. Further, he connects Lucifer to Islam by saying that he is the inspiration of those who oppress the Jews and covet their land. The fact he uses “prostration” to weaken the Gentile nations is quite a clue.
“Satan” is Heylel’s title. It means “The Adversary.” John, in Revelation, writes: “I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, or Satan. He bound him for a thousand years. He shut him up so that he could no longer deceive the nations.” (Revelation 20) Satan is a derogatory title for Heylel—a spirit who deceives and leads men astray. Heylel, of course, detests “The Adversary” title, as he wants to be God, not God’s opponent. Adverse means unfavorable, unpleasant, poor, or undesirable. Paul is saying that Heylel will transform himself into the image of an angel and deceive men using a false prophet. The messenger will be boastful, yet speak eloquently; he will be deceitful, yet require obedience. He will come with a new Gospel. He is speaking of Muhammad and his Qur’an.
By putting these things together we discover that Heylel, as presented in the Bible, is a perfect match for Allah, the demented and deceitful spirit of the Qur’an. Now, to the International Zone. The Persian President, if to be gentle, is quite irrational.
The only thing that frightends him is Sharon, who can always invent a good strategy both for attack or defense which is so creative and unbelievable, so it'll be very very hard to defeat him.
As far as I know, Ariel Sharon was never defeated, and if he was, the ratio between is huge.

That's won't be written. And another nice details of the Islamic conquests, how peacefully people converted to Islam. Just to remind what's not written in the Book, that it was ISLAM OR DEATH method. And of course, Jerusalem's holiness to Islam, blah blah blah.
Jerusalem isn't mentioned in the Quran even once. The only reason that the AlAqsa Exits is because of a rebellion in Mecca ( which by the way, after Muhammad's death returned to Paganism as the rest of the Arab tribes in Hejaz, and were resubjugated ).
The Muslims stormed all through the Middle East, forcing sanctions upon and killing those who refuse to move to Islam. That's not there, it's not written there.

The leftists consider the use of drugs to be an essential part of their lifestyle -- the Arab moslems are forbidden to touch alcohol, and are bound by countless other prescriptions of the Qran, Hadith etc., barring them even from eating pork.

The leftists believe either in a socialist Über-state, or in absolute anarchy ... the Arab moslems cherish their patriarchal families, and the traditionally rigid tribal hierarchy, which almost forms parallel or counter-states within any Arab nation.

What's really interesting about the Arabs' desire to throw out the leftists of Hebron is their turn to the Jews for advice and support ... maybe this could fore-shadow the beginning of a better understanding between the Jews and the moslems in Israel ?

It would not be a novelty, rather the return to the traditionally peaceful coexistence of the believers of these two religions. Before the late 19th century, the virulent anti-Semitic ( read: anti-Jewish ) hatred rampant today in the moslem world was virtually unknown ... only afterwards it was imported from the West - most notably the British Empire - and blended with radical Islam. Although the Jews were oppressed and disenfranchised in the moslem territories they lived in prior to the late 19th century - from Morroco to Persia -, they rarely had to face any pogroms, while such barbaric persecution was commonplace in Europe and Russia at the same time. Compared to the okzident, the orient was a land of relative security and prosperity for the Jews.

It would probably be naive to expect a quick improvement in the Jewish.moslem relations anytime soon ... but the leftists could learn a vital lesson out of this story nevertheless:

The Kosovo conflict and the Holocaust - a bloody Albanian heritage many wish to cover up

Here we have facts and images, which many spectators of current political events will find neither entertaining, nor amusing. They deal with those typical links between fascism and extremist Muslim and Islamist ideologies. And the ill-famed Grand-Mufti of Jerusalem even plays his own role in this.

On Serbianna.com there is a brilliant review of a 1997 book by the American Harvey Sarner (who claims to be a historian, but - in fact - isn't at all), titled "Rescue in Albania", which continues to falsify the Albanian records of murder of their willing participation in the Holocaust. The objective of books like these is to portray the Albanians as worthy to be given an autonomous state encompassing the Serbian Region of Kosovo-Metohija - and to be worthy of military protection by NATO. Books like these effectively assisted in creating the massive, compassionate media support FOR Albanians (in Kosovo), which eventually led to the attack on FRY in 1999.

The author of the review, the American Carl Savich, puts up the ugly truth against such lies and shows, that what began centuries ago and found a terrible climax in WW II continues today under almost identical circumstances. And what is even more disturbing, is the fact that the very ethnic history of Kosovo is directly connected with basic events of WWII and the Holocaust.

I'd like to quote some crucial parts of his review and display some telling pictures of soldiers, of who Albanians today are still proud of, despite their involvment with Nazi SS-divisions and the Holocaust:

History is in many ways a myth we create for ourselves. History is constantly falsified to justify wars and territorial claims. Albanian apologists have falsified the role Albania played in the Holocaust to justify an illegal US/NATO war against Serbia and to allow for the creation of a Greater Albania that would include the Serbian province of Kosovo-Metohija. The Albanian role in the Holocaust was falsified and manipulated to advance the creation of an “independent Kosova", an ethnically pure Albania statelet, a second Albanian state in eastern Europe.

The Jewish victims of the Holocaust in Albania are estimated at 591 from 1941 to 1944, when a Greater Albania was sponsored by Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. There were 33 known families of Albanian Jews living in pre-war Albania. The largest Jewish community consisted of 15 Jewish families living in Vlora. According to the 1930 census, there were 204 Jews living in Albania. At the Wannsee Conference in 1942, when the Final Solution was organized, the total Jewish population of Albania was listed as 200 Jews. By 1939 there were Jewish refugees from Germany and Austria. What role did Albania play in the Holocaust? Albanian apologists maintain that no Jews were killed in Albania during the Holocaust. Is this accurate? What is the context of this statement? Albanian apologists have consciously and methodically falsified the Albanian role in the Holocaust. The way this was done was to totally suppress the fact that Kosovo-Metohija was a part of Albania from 1941 to 1944. Also left out is the fact that a Greater Albania was in fact created that included not only Kosovo-Metohija, Kosova in the Greater Albania ideology, but southern Serbian territory, territory in southern Montenegro, and western Macedonia, or Illirida. Albanian apologists distort history by implying that it was Albanians that rescued Jews. But in fact it was the Italian occupation forces that opposed the Final Solution and who rescued Jews. Another falsification is the omission of the role played by Xhafer Deva, a Kosovar Albanian Muslim, in the Greater Albanian state and in the Holocaust.

Albanian apologists falsify the history of the Holocaust by suppressing the fact that it was Adolf Hitler who first created a Greater Albania that included the Serbian province of Kosovo-Metohija. They assiduously cover-up the fact that it was Adolf Hitler who set the precedent for an “independent” Kosova, an ethnically pure Albanian Kosova. Albanian apologists have carefully suppressed and deleted this fact. [...]

Rescue in Albania is nothing more than a thinly-veiled propaganda tract. His subtitle is: “One Hundred Percent of Jews in Albania Rescued from Holocaust.” The book features an Albanian and Israeli flag on the cover. [!] Van Christo, the Albanian president of the Frosina Foundation, has used the book for “fund raising purposes” to obtain money for the separatist campaign in Kosovo. Lobby money can buy you a lot of lies. And Sarner just knows that. [...]

The book had a clear-cut goal and purpose all along. Propaganda is written for a specific purpose and goal. As Adolf Hitler himself noted, propaganda is not written for “blasé young gentlemen”, but to convince the masses, to persuade key groups, key target audiences. In this case, the target audience was the Jewish community in the US. Sarner parrots the Albanian and US State Department policy on the Serbian province of Kosovo-Metohija as follows: “The status of Kosova [sic], currently a part of Yugoslavia, is in contention today. Albanians favor either independence for Kosova or its being a part of Albania. The people of the area are ethnic Albanians.” Of course, this statement too is incorrect and is patently absurd. The borders of Yugoslavia are recognized by the United Nations and by international law. Yugoslavia, as a sovereign nation, has a right and duty to safeguard and protect its own internationally recognized and legal borders. But Sarner knows all that. Propaganda is not written to be rational. As Hitler noted, propaganda appeals to the emotions and subjective and irrational nature of man. This is what Sarner is appealing to.

What is the Kosovo conflict all about? Edith Durham in "The Burden of the Balkans", published in 1905 (!), explained the Albanian goal in Kosovo succinctly and clearly:

The Christian the Albanian persecutes is the Slav Christian, and this is the old, old race hatred. Of all the passions that sway human fortunes, race hatred is, perhaps, the strongest and the most lasting.

The Kosovo conflict is all about “race hatred”, what we call “racism” today. It is all about finishing the job Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini started. It is called genocide and ethnic cleansing. This is the real goal. This is why Sarner is falsifying the history.

Durham also argued that the Shqip or Albanian language is an “Aryan tongue”. The Nazi/fascist sponsors of Greater Albania in 1941 would also argue that the Albanians were part of the Aryan, or master race, a superior race.

In 1991, virtually the entire Jewish population of Albania left for Israel. The Jews were airlifted to Israel after the collapse of the Communist regime. Albania under the Communist regime of Enver Hoxha maintained no diplomatic relations with Israel. Hoxha abolished religion and created an atheistic state in Albania. Today, there are less than 40 Jews in all of Albania. They live in the capital Tirana. In Kosovo, the small Jewish population was ethnically cleansed out of Kosovo in 1999 along with Kosovo Serbs and other non-Albanians after NATO troops occupied the Serbian province. The Kosovo Jews fled to Belgrade. There are no more Jews living in Kosovo today, which is under NATO military occupation.

I wore my IDF shirt to an International Politics seminar a few weeks ago. At first I thought i'd suddenly become attractive or something, but alas, the shirt attracts the eye. I was asked by one fellow student whether I wore the shirt "with a hint of irony", and was a bit dismayed when I replied there was none.

Also, for the 13th time, I had to deny that not now, nor have I ever been, in the slightest bit, and nor do I plan to become, Jewish. While my support of Israel was strange, as soon as people realise I am of that opinion through ration rather than merely blind religious faith - well, y'know, they suddenly find a reason to leave, to go, somewhere..... else....

I haven't made any active effort to recruit people yet to my cause and the blog, but I think its about time I did, especially starting with friends whom I know are of a similar political persuasion. I am now an admin at Aberystwyth Conservative Future and shall start lobbying fellow members in due course.

After my essays of course. I need to please academia by using aloof words and phrases first.

To many visitors of our blog this piece of news may seem trivial ... in sharp contrast to the recent declaration of war uttered against Israel by the Iranian Fuehrer. Nevertheless, I consider it to be not only encouraging, but also of greater significance: We've all heard the news about the plans of several American churches to "divest" from Israel - that is, pull all the money they once invested in Israel out of the Jewish nation, with only a single expressed purpose: Weaken Israel as a modern, free and democratic nation, and at the same time support the "palestinians" and their unlawful leaders ( PA, terror gangs like Hamas, ...). The divestment campaigns of these churches were motivated solely by an anti-Semitic ideology, no economical considerations at all. It is less than chilling to witness this lack of moral judgement, not to mention wisdom, thereby displayed by several major American churches: The Jews are their ancestors in faith, the moslems their enemies. This behavior is strangely fitting into the behavior of Western atheist leftists, however, who also ally themselves with the evil forces of islamist reaction -- despite their pretense to champion women's rights or combat superstition and overcome traditions.

It is all the more surprising therefore that a business company like Microsoft, with no claim to follow an ethical system like a church does, goes out and openly declares its support not only of Israel, but of the IDF !

Israel needs friends like Bill Gates, who come to Israel not only out of economic considerations ( though all such people and companies are more than welcome as well ! Ariel Sharon, the Israeli Prime Minister, has confronted Tony Blair about recent attempts by British human rights lawyers to have senior Israeli Defence Force generals arrested as they arrive in the UK, it was reported today.

Israeli newspapers reported that the two men met on the sidelines of the UN summit in New York yesterday and Mr Blair extended an invitation to his counterpart to visit the UK.

"I would really like to visit Britain,"the Yediot Aharonot newspaper quoted Mr Sharon as replying, jokingly. "The trouble is that I, like General Almog, also served in the IDF for many years. I too am a general. I have heard that the prisons in Britain are very tough. I wouldn’t like to find myself in one."

Mr Sharon was referring to the near-arrest of General Doron Almog, a former Israeli army commander, at Heathrow Airport on Sunday, and the decision of General Moshe Yaalon, the army's former chief of staff, not to attend a speaking engagement in London this weekend because of fears that he too might be arrested.

Israeli military chiefs have been alarmed by the lawsuit filed on behalf of Palestinian victims of alleged war crimes committed by the IDF in 2002 and the issuing of an arrest warrant for General Almog - who stayed on his plane and returned to Israel after being tipped by embassy staff in London.

According to Israeli Army radio, Mr Blair was said to be have been embarrassed by the exchange and to have promised to "take care of the matter". A spokeswoman for 10 Downing Street confirmed that the meeting took place today but declined to comment on the conversation.

The news:

The first post-war bomb attack executed by West-German leftist terrorists targetted ... what ?

Well, let's guess: A pompous bank ? A poisoning factory, symbol of the evil side of capitalism ? A bourgeois CEO in his luxury Mercedes limo ? A lofty government building, arrogantly defying the will of the people thru its bombastic architecture ? Perhaps a corrupted politician ? Or a military installation, possibly one of the "occupying powers" of Great Britain, the USA or France ?

None of the above.

The first target of leftist post-war (WWII) terrorism was the Jewish Community Center of West-Berlin,
on November 9th, 1969 - cynically the 29th anniversary of the so-called Reichskristallnacht, in which Nazi mobs thruout Germany smashed Jewish homes, shops and synagogues in a violent rage called Volkszorn, which led to the deaths of dozens of Jews and foreshadowed what was about to follow with the Holocaust. Only sheer luck led to the failure of the Jewish community center's bombing, and the saving of numerous Jews' lives: The ignition mechanism of the bomb was too rusty to work ...

Behind the attack was the "communard" ( founding member of the legendary "Kommune 1," a communist housing project in West-Germany ) and "Tupamaro" Dieter Kunzelmann, as a new book by Wolfgang Kraushaar, "Die Bombe im Jüdischen Gemeindehaus" ( 'The bomb in the Jewish Community Center' - http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/3936096538/qid=1126356403/sr=8-1/ref=pd_ka_1/028-2778381-3602117 ), reveals.

That the 1960s ( 68ers, as they're called in Germany ) leftist movement did not only have an anti-capitalist and anti-American, but also an anti-Jewish agenda, has re-entered the common consciousness in the recent years. The leftists supported, and continue to support today - under the guise of a naive anti-imperialism - the "palestinians" and the PLO, whose expressed goal was - and unofficially remains today - the extinction of Israel. The left thus supported, and continues to support today, a second Holocaust. Communist ideologues like Ulrike Meinhof and Dieter Kunzelmann propagated that the Germans had to get over their "Judenknax" ( "Jew complex" ), that is to forget the Holocaust ( and consequently all possible lessons taught thru it ) and act as if it had never happened in reality ! Tale-tellingly, their former comrade Horst Mahler is a leading member of the German Neo-Nazi party NPD these days ...

The left should take Kraushaar's book as a stimulus for self-critique - before it's too late, again.

An American student was charged yesterday in an al Qaeda plot to kill President Bush, with prosecutors alleging that Ahmed Omar Abu Ali and his confederates planned to use multiple snipers to shoot Bush or to blow him up in a suicide bombing.
The expanded indictment of Abu Ali, returned by a federal grand jury in Alexandria, also claimed for the first time that he proposed a plan to bring members of an al Qaeda cell into the United States through Mexico. They would then link up with Abu Ali to conduct terrorist operations in this country, the indictment said.Abu Ali, 24, of Falls Church was first charged in February with terrorism counts that included trying to establish an al Qaeda cell in the United States. That indictment referred to the plot to kill Bush, but Abu Ali was not charged with conspiring to assassinate the president until yesterday. The case is among the highest-profile terrorism prosecutions in the United States since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The new nine-count indictment also adds charges of conspiracy to commit aircraft piracy and destroy aircraft, part of the Justice Department's allegations that Abu Ali was plotting with al Qaeda to conduct a Sept. 11-style attack in the United States that would include hijacking planes.
If convicted on the assassination count alone, Abu Ali faces up to life in prison. Earlier, his maximum penalty on all counts had been 80 years in prison.
An attorney for Abu Ali, who has pleaded not guilty, did not return telephone calls late yesterday, and a White House spokesman referred calls to the Justice Department. Prosecutors would not comment beyond the indictment.
Abu Ali was arrested by security officials in June 2003 while studying at a university in Saudi Arabia. His family mounted a highly public campaign in the United States for his release. He was held until he was flown back to the United States in February to face charges.
Defense attorneys and Abu Ali's family have contended that any statements he made in Saudi custody were obtained through torture. Two doctors who examined Abu Ali found evidence that he was tortured in Saudi Arabia, including scars on his back consistent with having been whipped, defense lawyers have said in court papers.
Prosecutors have denied that Abu Ali was tortured. But if a federal judge concludes that he was, much of the evidence against him could be thrown out because it was obtained under duress. The torture allegations are expected to play a key role in a hearing scheduled to start Sept. 19.
